1302868 Sliding door guide HILLALDAM COBURN Ltd 29 June 1970 [15 Aug 1969] 40875/69 Heading E1J A sliding door guide recessed into a concrete floor comprises a U-shaped channel member having the upper edges of its sides 2, 3 bent outwardly at 90‹ to form flanges 6, 7 which have their outer edges bent downwardly to form further flanges 10, 11 extending parallel with the channel sides 2, 3. The channel guide is preferably cold rolled from galvanised steel strip, and is pressed into wet concrete 12 when the floor is laid so that the lateral flanges 6, 7 are flush with the surface 13 and the flanges 10, 11 extend downwardly into the concrete and prevent the mouth of the channel being closed by passage of vehicles.
