Ironwork, constructional.- Joints for metal channel frames consist of arcuate tongues 13 and slots 15 formed in the sides of the channel. Preferably the tongues and slots are tapered and relative transverse movement is prevented by a tongue- and-slot engagement 20, 21 between the bases of the channels or by bevelling the sides of the tongues &c. The joints may be made between members in line or at any angle.
