273,100. Beckett, Laycock, & Watkinson, Ltd., and Harrison, C. E. July 3,1926. Ironwork, constructional.-A joint for one or more corners of a frame of channel-section metal is formed by cutting away the sides of one member to form a tongue 16 which is bent twice inwardly and once outwardly at right angles, the end 20 being entered by an angular movement in a slot 21 in the base of the adjacent member, and the sides of both members being cut away to butt as shown in Fig. 2. One or both of the bottom corner joints with the member 13 are formed as shown in Fig. 3. A tongue 26 on the part 11 is entered in a hole in the base of the member 13 and secured by a key 29. The part 13 may be replaced by a hook-shaped end entered into a slot in the neighbouring frame member and the part 26 may comprise a double-bent tongue having a U-shaped end penetrating the bottom of the neighbouring member and secured by a key or pin as shown in Fig. 6
