[Also in Group XXII] A stud driver comprises a head 1 containing rollers 3, which are forced into contact with the stud when the driver is rotated, and a handle 9 attached to the head by a spigot and socket connection 7, 12. The rollers are spaced by a sleeve 5. The spigot 7 is hexagonal and the handle is retained by a ball-catch 8. The handle has a tommy-bar in holes 14, or a bar or wrench in a square socket 16, or is formed to be held in a chuck. A set of heads may be used with one handle.
