Classes 20(3), 20(4) and 87(1) A hollow metal building panel comprises a vertical plate 8 spaced from two plates 9, 9a which have corrugations defining an opening S leading to a glass fibre pad 12 inside the panel, the plates being connected by side frame members 10, 11 and upper and lower frame members 13, 14. The side frames 10, 11 are of outwardly facing channel formation and engage with mullions comprising channel-section beams 52, 53 and cover plates 58, 59, as in Fig. 2; the side frames and mullions extend upwardly beyond the metal panel to form window frames. The glass fibre pad is supported by the free edge of the plate 9a, by a plate 27 secured to the lower frame member 14, and by the flanges 49 of angled plates 45a fixed to the side frames, which plates also retain the side flanges of plate 8. Beads 18 on the side frames co-operate with angle bars 19 to support the plate 9. A filter screen 44 may be provided between the insulating pad and vertical plate 9. The upper frame member 13 is stepped to co-operate with the window frame 32 and its packing flange 33. The lower frame member 14 is of similar stepped form and has a downwardly extending flange 40 bolted to an angle brace 37 which is anchored to the concrete floor sill B; to allow for vertical adjustment of the parts, the flange 40 and angle brace are vertically slotted.
