Abstract

958,125. Buildings; panelled structures. G. LESAGE. Sept. 29, 1960 [Oct. 2, 1959], No. 33444/60. Headings E1A and E1V. A building comprises a number of U-shaped metal frames 1 between the uprights 2 of which are secured wall panels, and which rest by their horizontal portions 3 on girders 4. Panels 7 are clamped to the uprights 2 by bolts 12 and nuts 13 engaging with channel cover strips 11 and channels 9 welded to the uprights. In a modification, the uprights are of the section shown in Fig. 4. The frames 1 of the top storey of the building are closed by upper horizontal members.
