861,026. Glazing. COOKE, L. Jan. 2, 1959 [Jan. 8, 1958], No. 763/58. Class 20(3) In a glazing bar having upper and hollow, channel or the like lower members 1, 2 adapted to be drawn together by means of a nut 15 and bolt 3 connection to clamp the edges of sheets of glass 4, 5 between them, a pair of lips 12, 13 extend inwardly from each of the sides of the member 2 and the two lower lips 13 form a supporting platform for the head of the bolt 3 which abuts the two upper lips 12 when the bolt is tightened. The lips 12 are recessed to house and prevent rotation of the bolt when in position. Locknuts 20 secure the bolts in their spaced positions. Specification 572,247 is referred to.
