983,632. Air raid shelters; building frameworks. A. ZUGEHOR. June 21, 1961 [June 24, 1960], No. 22443/61. Headings E1A and E1K. An air-raid &c. shelter comprises a number of vertically arranged rectangular frames a-g built up from perforated or slotted angle iron and connected together by longitudinal angle irons h, i, k, l. Each side of the frames may comprise two angle irons bolted together to form an inwardly facing U. A covering of concrete p supported by a metal fabric o may be provided, or the concrete may be supported between inner and outer sheets of metal fabric. Alternatively, the adjacent frames may be in contact. Doors may be provided at the ends of the shelter and may lead into compartments which form air-locks.
