Abstract

1,018,663. Multi-storey buildings. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. July 24, 1962 [July 24, 1961], No. 24563/62. Heading E1A. In a multi-storey building consisting of a lower storey assembled from one or more prefabricated sections 11-16 supporting a like constructed upper storey, projecting supporting beams 31 are fixed between the storeys and support a gallery or balcony 29. Filling pieces 33 are also disposed between the storeys as shown. Each section consists of a skeleton beam framework to which walls are fastened, covering plates being provided where the balcony meets the outside wall, see Fig. 10 (not shown). External stairways are also incorporated in the building, see Figs. 1, 2, 5-8 (not shown).
