Abstract

1397725 Glazing PILLAR PATENT GLAZING Ltd 8 June 1972 [14 June 1971] 27786/71 Heading E1R A glazed wall construction comprises a framework of uprights 10 and horizontals defining rectangular openings containing panels, lateral flanges on the uprights and on an attached cover member (42) supporting adjacent panels, the lower horizontal 12 having a channel 31 and the upper horizontal 11 having a flange 15 and attached cover strip 21 to support the panels. The upper and lower horizontals are secured to the uprights 10 by screws 9. The framework receives fixed panels 20, 32 and openable panel 26. Intermediate horizontals may have the form of Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown). The outer uprights 10 are secured by L-shaped members (45, Fig. 7, not shown). The covers 42 may have clip-on capping strips (89, Fig. 8, not shown).
