Abstract

845,311. Window blinds. AVERY & CO. (EST. 1834) Ltd., J. July 17, 1958 [July 19, 1957], No. 23015/57. Class 20(3) A venetian blind designed for the rear window of a motor vehicle is urged to the raised position by a spring roller 14, and is lowered by a cord 17 secured to the bottom bar 12, tilting of the slats being effected by a spring roller 18 about which is wound a ladder tape 11 and an operating cord 21, the roller being so biased as to urge the slats into the open or horizontal position. The slats and bottom bar are of a light alloy.
