Abstract

518,040. Window blinds. ROBERTSHAW, W. L. Sept. 14, 1938, No. 26773. [Class 20 (iii)] To prevent passage of light, cords 11 are fitted to the edges of a roller blind 6 and guided in throated tubes 9 in the framing, or in separate attachments 8. The cords, which are secured with the blind to the roller 13 extend through the bottom of the framing where they are guided over pulleys 16, 17. A slat at the bottom of the blind is received in a frame-recess 15.
