Abstract

976,220. Strap attachments. HUNTER DOUGLAS INTERNATIONAL. Jan. 4, 1961 [Jan. 12, 1960], No. 302/61. Heading A4X. [Also in Divisions D1 and E1] The ends of lift cords 2 of a Venetian or like blind are secured separately in lead-in holes 6 in the upper portion of a holder 5 by means of discs 5 and tags 10 in a manner which allows each cord to rotate about its longitudinal axis. The holder may be formed in two halves joined by a screw and may be connected by means of a tape 3, secured in the bottom of the holder, to a spring loaded drum 4 which is mounted below the window and which partially compensates the weight of the blind. Alternatively the holder may be formed as a handle.
