832,246. Rotary discharge. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Dec. 4, 1957 [Dec. 17, 1956], No. 38378/56. Class 78 (1). Polymer chips introduced into inlet 5 and discharged into outlet 8 by rotor 1 are deflected by baffle 6 and by inclined surface 7 the latter being inclined greater than the angle of repose so as to avoid stoppages. The separation distance between rotor and casing is greater than 2 x the diameter of a particle.
