Class 23 [Also in Group XXVIII] A centrifugal separator serving to urge dust particles coagulated by standing waves (see Group XXVIII) against the wetted vertical wall of a depositing chamber 7 having a lower dust-laden gas inlet 2 and an upper outlet leading to a cyclone separator 13 comprises spaced superposed vanes 8 mounted on a common rotating spindle 9 driven by a shaft 11 through gearing 10.
