Class 52(2) The leg-rest 146 of a reclining chair is pivoted on rearwardly extending links 138, 150 and further links 164, 148 couple the leg-rest links to the seat 142 and to spaced points on a link 128 which is carried by links 122, 126 pivoted to the supporting frame 110. Either the forward or the rearward link of the said further links may be pivoted to the seat and the link 126 may, as shown, be connected to the back rest 116. The seat and back rest may be integral and means for securing the parts in adjusted position may be provided.
