Abstract

811,836. Vibratory mechanism. VIBROVERKEN A.B. Oct. 4, 1957 [Oct. 27, 1956], No. 31092/57. Class 80 (4). In a rotary vibrator fluid under pressure is directed through a passage on to two intermeshing gears 2, 3 enclosed in a cylindrical casing 1 so as to cause the gear 2 to roll around the non-rotatable gear 3. The gear 3 is fixed concentrically in the casing 1, the gear 2 being rotatably mounted in an unbalanced rotor 6 rotatable on trunnions 4 of the fixed gear 3. The rotor 6 contains inlet and outlet fluid passages 9, 11 communicating with inlet and outlet ports 7, 13 of the casing 1 through annular grooves in the casing. The passage 9 is enlarged adjacent the meshing gears to distribute the fluid pressure. The rotor is formed in two parts 5, 6 and is unbalanced by a recess 14.
