Class 7(6) A normally closed valve 8 in the delivery pipe 4 of a blower 1 is opened to by-pass the blower delivery through a pipe 7 back to the blower intake 3 when an exhaust brake valve 10 is closed. The valves 8 and 10 are operated by fluid pressure motors 9, 12, connected in parallel to the pressure supply line 13.
