Abstract

800,464. Yielding bearing supports. LANDIS & GYR A.G. July 2, 1956 [July 5, 1955], No. 20465/56. Class 12 (1). In a bottom bearing for an electricity meter comprising a bearing- socket 13 mounted at the free end of a leaf-spring 11 so that it may oscillate with respect to the other end of the spring which is mounted in a fixed socket 12, the ends of the leaf-spring are held in the sockets 13, 12 by semi-cylindrical plugs 16. The socket 12 is mounted in a sleeve 5 which is spring-pressed against a sleeve 4 abutting against a shoulder 7 of a bearing member 2 secured in a support 1. The socket 13 carries a bearing pad 10 against which a ball 8 at the end of the spindle 9 bears.
