Abstract
347,595. Current meters. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. Jan. 23, 1930, No. 2402. Convention date, Feb. 7, 1929. [Class 37.] A rotating-iron current meter comprises two flat coils 4, 5, Fig. 2, with their axes disposed at rightangles to the instrument spindle 1 and producing fields in opposite directions on two irons 2, 3 respectively, the spindle being sprung into bearings 13, 14 mounted on resilient arms 15. The pointer 16, control springs 17 and damping-vane (not shown) are located in the horizontal plane through the carrier bearing 13. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises a modification, Fig. 3 (Cancelled), wherein the coils are mounted with their axes parallel to the instrument spindle. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
