393,033. Yielding-bearing supports. CHEETHAM, G. A., Hamewith, Westmoreland Road, Urmston, Manchester, and ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London. Feb. 23, 1932, No. 5435. [Class 12 (i).] In an electric meter, a jewel bearing 8 is carried on the upper end of a wire or rod 6 which is secured at its lower end in a tube 4. A flange or collar 13 on the tube 4 or spindle 6 and positioned below the bearing 8 limits lateral deflection of the rod in operation. The tube 4 may be supported in the frame 17 of the meter by a spring 18 carried by an adjustable spring 19. Specification 205,886, [Class 12 (i), Bearings &c.), is referred to.
