768,578. Electromagnetic relays. AMMON R. A. Sept. 14, 1954 [Oct. 5, 1953], No. 26592/54. Class 38(5) [Also in Group XXXVI] In a field assembly, a core member 3, Fig. 1, fits into the socket of a non-magnetic frame 2 seated in a yoke 1 having opposing pole pieces 11, the core and frame being retained in position by a bridge 4. The The bridge is provided with a slot 44 which co-operates with the legs 22 to prevent rotation of the frame, and with a downturned finger 42 to retain the core in position. Screws hold the bridge to the yoke (Fig. 4, not shown) engaging the holes 17. The moving coil 52 is mounted on pivots 53 and is restrained from rotation by a spring 76. The plate 73 carries a lever 74 connecting with one end of the spring.
