603,981. Electromagnetic switches. MASCHINENFABRIK OERLIKON. Nov. 19, 1945, No. 31098. Convention date, Dec. 18, 1944. [Class 38 (v)] When a contact 4 mounted on a spring 2 and responsive to ar instrument 1, engages a contact 5, a circuit is completed to an electro magnet 6 which holds the contacts closed til the restoring force from the instrument over comes the magnetic holding force and the contact snaps open. In the form shown, the contact 4 moves between two contacts 5. The magnets 6 may be energized by rectified A.C.
