A timepiece has a balance I controlled by a hair spring Fig. 1, and electromagnetically impulsed by an electromagnet 4, 5. A permanent magnet 8 of one or several pieces and having a central pole rotates with the balance and co-acts with a similar stationary permanent magnet 10 to neutralize the disturbing torque due to remanence or polarization of the electromagnetic maintaining circuit.
