[Class 106 (iv)] In an electrical measuring-instrument 1 of square shape having the pointer pivot 5 in one corner, the dial plate is provided with a slot 6 to enable it to be fitted over the pivot, the pointer and the slot being located in a straight line when no current is passing through the instrument. A number of instruments may be mounted side by side as shown, the pointers extending in one straight line when no currents are passing through the instruments.
