778,983. Agricultural implements. CHANDLER, R. L., and OGLE, C. B. July 7, 1955 [July 22, 1954], No. 19643/55. Class 6(1). An agricultural implement comprises a tool support 13 attached to a draft frame 10 provided with ground wheels 12 which are raised and lowered by means of a hydraulic cylinder 24. As shown the tool support carries a oneway plough rotatably mounted on a tube 44 and rotated by means of a hydraulic cylinder 55. The plough structure 43 is provided with a pin gear 45 which is operated by the cylinder 55 by means of a plate 47 provided with spaced indentations 52 which co-operate with the pins 53 to rotate the plough structure, a stop bar 42<SP>1</SP> on the structure 43 abutting against stop plates 43<SP>1</SP> and 441 to limit the rotational movement of the plough structure. A gauge wheel 17 rotates with the plough structure and swings about pivot members 61 and 62 and is restrained by a chain 66. Abutment pins 64 which are adjustably positioned on a plate 63 co-operate with a stirrup 65 on an arm 59 supporting the wheel 17 to set the ploughing depth. The tool support is pivotally attached to the draft frame and may be removed to allow a tool bar 86 to be fitted to the ends of the draft frame. Tools 90a may be fitted to the bar 86. The tool bar 86 may be arranged so that it may be adjustably tilted.
