Class 6(i) A cultivating or planting attachment for operating between the front and rear wheels of a tractor comprises two side members 22 each pivoted to a rotatable bracket 12 on the tractor axle housing and suitably braced by cross members 24. A chain 27 is fixed to each member 22 for receiving a tool bar 28 on which is mounted the implements 30. Two posts 32 are fixed on the tool-bar 28, each post being provided with a slot 33 for engaging the links of a chain 34 for tilting the tool-bar 28. A transverse shaft 17 is mounted below the tractor frame and is connected to a lever 10 of a power lift mechanism 9 by a rod 19 which is connected to a lever 18 fixed on the shaft 17. Levers 20 are also fixed on the shaft 17 and are connected to the tool-bar 28 by a chain 20<SP>1</SP> which encircles the the tool-bar and is held by a hook 21.
