Abstract

664,101. Agricultural implements. BRADFORD, R. June 1, 1949, No. 14755/49. Class 6(i) An implement comprises a toolframe 16 suspended from a main frame 1 by parallel links 20, 21, both frames being coupled by further links 32, 35, to a limber which comprises land wheels 3 and a draw-bar 7 carrying a hand-lever 26, connected to the main frame by a bell-crank 31 and a link 31a. Operation of the lever causes the main and tool-frames to move longitudinally in opposite directions and raises or lowers the toolframe on its links 20, 21. The main frame is supported by a rear castorwheel 4. The link 32 is secured rigidly to the land-wheel axle 5, the wheels 3 being free thereon. A short arm 34, also rigid with the axle, is pivoted to the link 35. A seat 10 on the limber carries an operator and a clevis 9 permits the draw-bar to be coupled to a tractor. Fig. 2 shows the raised, and Fig. 3 the lowered position of the tools 19.
