608,372. Agricultural implements. LIVESEY, S. C., and LIVESEY, R. C. Feb. 21, 1946, No. 5428. [Class 6(i)] A tractor-mounted disc plough comprises frame members 11, 12 clamped on each side of the differential housing 10 of a tractor, a transverse plough beam 17 being bolted to the frame members and being adapted to support plough arms 21, 22, and 23 which can be lifted by lifting arms 26 mounted on a further transverse bar 27. The plough arms are resiliently connected by rods 24, encircled by springs 25, to the lifting arms 26, the transverse bar 27, of square section. being mounted in bearings 29 and being rockable by a lever 34 and links 32, 33 to raise the ploughs. The springs 25 permit the rise and fall of individual ploughs on encountering obstructions.
