Abstract

846,355. Agricultural implements. STOKLAND, S. May 2, 1958 [May 7, 1957], No. 14092/58. Class 6(1). An agricultural implement such as a seed sower is provided with a frame 1 carrying a rotatable ground wheel 4 and attached by arms 7 to the lower links 9 of a tractor linkage. The frame 1 is pivotally attached by arms 5 to a frame 11 fastened to the upper link 13 of the hitch linkage and provided with levers 17 carrying drills or planting ploughs 18, the arrangement being such that the implement may be raised as shown in dotted lines so that the drills or ploughs 18 are clear of the ground while the wheel 4 is retained in the ground further raising lifting the wheel 4 clear of the ground. Downward movement of the levers 17 is limited by arms 17<SP>1</SP> which abut against a tube 14 on the frame 11. Relative movement between frame 1 and frame 11 is limited by means of a hook 19 on frame 11 which engages a tube 6 of frame 1. Alternatively a lever may be mounted on arms 7 to abut on the upper side of the links 9.
