Abstract

892,533. Agricultural implements. PALLOT, L. C. April 8, 1958 [April 8, 1957], No. 11433/57. Class 6(1). A reversible plough for attachment to the lift linkage of a tractor comprises a shaft 13 rotatably mounted in a frame 1 and carrying tool beams 2 which are angularly spaced and adjustable on the beam, the shaft being rotated by means of a device connected by a chain M to the tractor so that as the plough is raised to lift the plough the chain is first tightened to unlock the plough beams by means of a pivoted lever 26 a hand-lever 25 connected to the chain is swung over by hand to bias a rocking plate 23 to one side or the other and further raising of the plough causes the shaft 13 to rotate to bring the opposite plough beam into position by the engagement of the plate 23 with a projection 22 on a plate 22 attached to the shaft 13. Lowering of the plough causes the chain to slacken and the plough beam to be locked in position by the lever 26.
