Abstract

796,705. Agricultural implements. RUSSELL, R. A. March 27, 1957 [Dec. 29, 1955], No. 37205/55. Class 6(1). A mounted plough d comprises a frame to which are attached tractor linkages f, g, the frame being mounted in guides o on the plough d and movable transversally with respect to the plough. As shown, the top link # is attached to a carriage n which is slidable on the top member h of the frame. The position of the frame with respect to the plough is adjusted by means of a screw p rotated by a crank handle r. The two lower links g are coupled to the members j of the frame by means of pins v and by ball joints or by a cross shaft i. One of the links g may be raised relatively to the other link g by raising one of the pins v or by replacing the cross shaft i by a cranked cross-shaft. In a modification the carriage n may be moved by means of a screw operated by the crank handle r. The screws may be replaced by any holding means that can be temporarily released to adjust the position of the frame.
