Abstract

653,438. Agricultural implement. FORD MOTOR CO., Ltd., and WRIGHT, S. J. Oct. 1, 1947, No. 26524. [Class 6(i)] An arrangement for coupling a plough 5 to a tractor 1 comprises two upper links 9 and a lower link 8 disposed substantially in line with the resultant forces on the plough. As shown the lower link 8 is in two parts 20, 20<SP>1</SP> joined by an adjusting sleeve 21, the link 8 being pivoted to a bracket 13 which is transversely adjustable by means of a screw having a handle 17, the screw being mounted on pivoted links 15 which are vertically adjustable by a screw 18, The upper links are attached to a crank 24 rotatably adjustable by means of a worm wheel 25 mounted thereon which co-operates with a worm having a handle 28. The plough is lifted from the ground by hydaulic lift arms 31 connected to the upper links 9 by links 22.
