678,841. Agricultural implements. CLARK, R. F. April 24, 1951 [April 25, 1950], No. 10133/50. Class 6(i) Means for attaching an agricultural implement to a tractor of the kind provided with a pair of lower draw links 6, 7 and means for raising and lowering the links, comprises a rigid adjustable stay A which prevents side sway or slip of the implement, and manually operable means for varying the length of the stay. As shown, an internally screwed sleeve 10 ig universally pivoted to the link 7 and receives a screwed shaft 11 to which is fixed a pinion gear enclosed in a casing 12 and operated by a crank handle 14 to adjust the effective length of the stay. In a modification a quadrant and lever mechanism may be used to adjust the stay.
