In a transformer(either a current or voltage transformer) in which the high voltage winding or windings is or are embedded in a lowpressure moulding of synthetic resin-at least one of the high voltage terminal bushings is formed integrally with the moulding with a re-entrant orifice containing the associated terminal. A high voltage fuse may be incorporated in the bushing and the transformer is suitable for use as a component in high voltage switchgear.
