Abstract

1,045,612. Transformers. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS-G.m.b.H. Feb. 7, 1964 [Feb. 8, 1963], No. 5270/64. Heading HIT. [Also in Division H2] A booster transformer having the voltage of its tapped secondary winding 7, 8 added reversibly into circuit 10, 5 through a changeover switch 4 has enclosed in the same tank surgelimiting members (voltage dependent resistors) 25 connected across some or all of the taps on one half of the winding. The lead 9 is taken out through a subsidiary bush of a multiple bushing insulator 24, the former requiring insulation to 25 kv. only. Surge diverters 13, 16 are provided (see Division H2).
