[Also in Division H1] In a voltage regulating transformer, alternate taps are connected to pairs of circularly arranged fixed contacts 14, 16 &c. having angularly spaced movable contacts 31, 33 connected to a centre-tapped reactor 42, the voltage across which is supplied to an induction regulator 34 which may be alternatively a tapped transformer arrangement (Fig. 2, not shown).
