Abstract

Improvements in ignition systems, characterized by being powered by an electric current generator with a power transformer whose secondary winding is connected to the ignition circuit of said system, while the primary winding of that system is periodically energized from the direct current generator, by means of a control circuit comprising a saturable core transformer with a primary winding connected in a series circuit, which also contains a power transistor and the primary winding of said power transformer, and is connected between the terminals of the direct current generator; and in addition it has a secondary winding connected in repulsion relation to the primary winding, and connected to the power transistor to make it conductive by the voltage induction in the secondary winding, and to make it non-conductive when the core of the saturable core transformer is shake, and means for periodically eliminating the remaining magnetism of the core of the saturable core transformer, whereby the power transistor is again made conductive by the voltage induction in the secondary winding of the saturable core transformer.
