730,586. Cycle luggage carriers. MIDLAND GEAR CASE CO., Ltd. Aug. 28, 1953 [June 3, 1952], No. 13885/52. Class 136(1). In a carrier for use in the attachment of a pannier bag to the rear part of a motor cycle, the carrier being of the type com prising a panel 1 providec at its base with a shelf 2 capable of being foldec close to the panel for stowing from a horizontal bag supporting position, the panel 1 is provided at its middle and at its sides with several holes 9 for the reception of bolts for fixing the panel to brackets 10 having eyed ends 11 capable of being directly connected to the motor cycle frame or its accessories. The shelf 2 is pivotally connected to the panel 1 by links 5 and a pivot pin 3 slidable in slotted guides in side flanges 4 of the panel 1.
