646,120. Luggage attachments. MIDLAND GEAR CASE CO., Ltd., and SMITH, W. B. Oct. 12, 1948, No. 26484. [Class 136 (i)] [Also in Group XVII] A saddle bag suspended by straps from the rear of a cycle saddle has a support in the form of a rigid arm or frame secured externally and rigidly to the bottom of the bag and projecting therefrom to a clip for the attachment of the arm to the seat pillar or frame-tube of the cycle. As shown, a saddle bag 1, suspended by straps 2 and suspender bar 5 from a saddle 3 has a frame 6 secured to its bottom by a panel 14 and rivets 16. The upwardly and forwardly extending end of the frame is secured by a clamp 7 to the saddle pillar 26. Specification 463,772 is referred to.
