Abstract

609,458. Luggage-carriers. ASHBY & SONS, Ltd., F., and ASHBY, F. C. March 15, 1946, No. 8067. [Class 136 (i)] A cycle luggage-carrier having a detachable spring clip for holding a parcel on the carrier platform has depending below it on either side a pair of slotted lugs in which the cross-bar 9 of the spring clip device is detachably held by its resiliency. The slotted lugs may be formed as integral extensions of the carrier platform, or be in the form of clips 21 as in Fig. 7. Stays 4 are pivotally connected at their upper ends to the lugs of the carrier.
