Abstract
627,667. Handbags. McCREADIE, E. L. July 29, 1947, No. 20512. [Class 133] In a handbag of the type in which the mouth of the bag comprises two rectangular frames each having three sides, the projecting arms 14 at each end of each frame being pivoted or hinged together at their free ends 15, an electric torch 16 is detachably held upon the top bar 13 as by clips 17. The torch is embraced by the resilient clasp 18 when the bag is closed and the handle 19 is fastened to the clips 17. The means for fastening the mouth of the handbag may be independent of the torch which may be held by rings into which the torch is inserted axially. Specification 475,616 is referred to.
