[Also in Group XXV] A buckle for use upon baggage straps for motor vehicles, comprises a hook portion 13, which connects the strap to the luggage carrier, and a strap-gripping portion 9 formed with sleeves 17, which slide on the frame 18 of the buckle, a toothed cross-piece 16 and a top portion 19<1> which co-operate with the bar 14 of the frame.
