Abstract

640,850. Cycle luggage carriers. LLOYD'S CYCLES, Ltd., W., A., and HUNT, J. Sept. 10, 1948, No. 23801 [Class 136 (i)] A cycle luggage carrier comprises a platform 1 having tubular side members 3 and depending tubular pannier frames 5 connected to the members 3 by T-shaped tubular junction-pieces 6 which may be turned together with the attached pannier frames about the respective side members to enable the carrier to be folded up for packing purposes. The junction-pieces 6 comprise tubular cross-heads 7 and socket portions 8 into which the ends of the frame 5 are fitted and secured by rivets 9, the cross-heads 7 being rotatable on the side members 3. Spaced transverse. struts 4 are connected to the members 3 by T-shaped tubular junction-pieces 1.0 fixed to the struts 4 and members 3 by rivets 11, 12 respectively.
