Abstract

770,115. Folding perambulators. ALEXANDER, S. Oct. 27, 1955 [March 14, 1955], No. 7361/55. Class 108(1). The handle 12 of a folding perambulator is pivotally supported at 22 and 23 from links 13, 14 pivoted to the base member 11 which carries the wheels 9, 10 and the handle is retained in the erected position by stops 21 and slidable rings 22. The perambulator body 18 is supported from a member 15 pivoted at 21 to the link 13, and by a strut member 16 pivoted to the link 14, When in the erected position the handle 12 is substantially in line with the link 14. An arrangement is also described in which the link 13 is pivoted to the lower end of the handle 12 and the link 14 pivoted at a distance from the end.
