870,346. Collapsible golf-trollies. MEIKLEJOHN, I. G. Sept. 28, 1959 [Oct. 8, 1958], No. 32045/58. Class 108(1). The backbone 1 of a trolley has brackets 6, 7 to which are pivotally connected wheelcarrying legs 8, 9, and a bracket 14 on which the handle 15 is pivoted at 16. Plates 18 mounted to rotate about the pivot 16 with the handle 15 carry spring steel struts 22 having extensions 24 accommodated in holes in the legs 8, 9, so that when the handle 15 is pivoted about 16 the legs 8, 9 are extended or collapsed and the spring struts 22 are stressed.
