Abstract
681,599. Folding push chairs. LINES BROS., Ltd., and LINES, W. April 28, 1949 [July 21, 1948], No. 15037/51. Divided out of 681,542. Class 108 (i). A folding four-wheeled push-chair comprises at each side a substantially horizontal frame member 1 supporting a body 3, a link 14 crossing the horizontal member and pivoted to it at 17, two crossed members 6, 7 pivoted to the horizontal member and the lower end of the link respectively and forming an X frame carrying the wheels, and one limb 16 of a handle 13 pivoted directly to the upper end of the link 14. The handle 13 is also extended and pivoted at 18 to a link 15 the lower end of which is pivoted at 19 to the frame member 1. A ring 20 is slidable down the limb 16 to lock the perambulator in the erect position by engagement with the top of the link 14 against which the extended pivot-pin 18 will abut.
