Abstract

608,184. Nursery chairs. YORK RAISING & DYEING CO., Ltd., and INGHAM, G. Feb. 18, 1946, No. 4990. [Class 52(ii)] [Also in Groups XXXI and XXXII] A device comprising a single tube bent at the middle to form a rounded backrest a, has each limb b bent to an S shape, a seat secured between the middle parts and an axle g and pair of wheels h across the lower parts of said limbs. The device may be converted to a two-wheel push chair by adding a fitment k or to a four-wheel perambulator or tricycle by suitable attachments clamped into tube ends c and f by set screws 1. The device may also be made to serve as a child's feeding chair by attaching a tray to the top parts of the limbs b and converted to a high chair by raising it with the axle and a footrest or other cross-member resting in grooves in the tops of scissor-like members of a collapsable frame.
