Abstract

Folding vehicles.-Baby carriages &c. comprise two wheeled frames a, b pivoted together at c, the frame a being pivoted to the handle frame d at e to which at h the seat f is also pivoted. The rear-wheel frame h is pivoted to the front of the seat at g and toggle links k also connect the handle d and the seat f. A pivoted foot (rest l is provided and is connected to the front-wheel frame a by links m, so that on folding the carriage the foot rest is drawn beneath the seat. Aback and sides p may be integrally connected to the seat f, or as shown in Fig. 7, the back q, arms s and supports u may be pivoted to each other and to the seat f and handle d so that they fold together with the baby-carriage frame.
