Abstract

174,715. Atkins, E. Oct. 28, 1920. Push-bars.-In a baby carriage or the like comprising a wheeled underframe supporting the body, handle members 10, 11 at the back thereof for propulsion, and a supplementary handle member hinged to the frame at the front so that it can be raised for pushing the carriage or folded down out of the way, the supplementary handle member comprises longitudinal handle-bars 1, 2 which have handles 8, 9 at their ends and fold down on to the frame. The bars 1, 2 may be connected near their hinges by a cross-bar 5 and are locked by hinged links 6, 7.
